The open market will also include food vendors such as Waffles (sweet and savory), Surf and Turk Truck, Weckery’s Ice Cream, Barry’s Buns, and more, as well as live music from the West Philly Foot Tappers, free hands-on kids crafts from Nest Chestnut Hill and Waldorf School of Philadelphia, with meet and greets and adoptable animals from local animal rescues like Finding Shelter. The seasonal, open market features more than 100 vendors who sell antiques and collectibles, vintage jewelry and clothing, finely crafted handmade items, architectural salvage and original art. The Clover Market’s goal is to give vendors various opportunities to connect with their customers in a safe, friendly environment that is completely free and open to all. The Clover Market promotes creative small business owners and develops community connections with all. People from all over Chestnut Hill come and gather in the open-air market to find unique and often handcrafted merchandise in an exciting outdoor atmosphere. Janet Long founded the Clover Market in 2010, and, since its creation, the market has grown bigger and received a more than a stellar reputation, now appearing in Chestnut Hill, Bryn Mawr, Kennett Square, and Collingswood, N.J. The Clover Market is free for all to attend, family and dog-friendly, and can be accessed by car or by train from the Chestnut Hill West and East Lines. and will have parking ambassadors staff to help. All street parking is free on Sundays, and the Parking Foundation lots will have a very minimal charge of $1/hr.
